We're so excited to tell you about our upcoming Manx Quilting – Arty Farty Crafty Day! Whether you're a seasoned quilter or picking up a needle for the very first time, this is the perfect day out for anyone who loves fabric, creativity, and good company.
What's Included in Your Kit?
Every participant will receive a beautifully curated kit packed with everything you need to get started:
- 10 plain jelly roll fabric strips in coordinating solid colours
- 10 patterned jelly roll fabric strips with complementary prints
- Thread
- A fat quarter of white fabric
- Half a metre of corresponding fabric for the quilt back
- Sewing needles
- Scissors
- Pins
- A 4x3 inch piece of red fabric
- A Stitch Kit tote bag for all in-person participants on the day to carry it all home in!
A Day of Making & Community
The Arty Farty Crafty Day is all about getting hands-on, learning new skills, and spending time with fellow makers. You'll be guided through the quilting process step by step, so there's no need to worry if you've never quilted before — we've got you covered.
Expect a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with plenty of tea, chat, and creative inspiration. By the end of the day, you'll have the start of a beautiful cushion cover to take home and finish at your own pace.
Who Is It For?
This event is open to all skill levels — complete beginners are very welcome! If you love crafting, fabric, or simply want to try something new, this is the day for you.
